Hello Marquest and all of you other wonderful customers, I'm a little confused about if I should ship your plants because of your frequent traveling schedule. I've sent (yet another) email requesting permission to ship today. Again, my apologies that I've gotten off track with your schedule. I'll make sure to throw in even more freebies for your continued hassle problems. For most of us it has been a fun ride, my apologies that it has become such a pain for you. I'm down to about 10 orders to ship out today and we'll be 100% caught up. KGC had a business meeting and the 3 of us decided that none of us have the time to continue with Koi Garden Club operations online. As I said in another thread, we all work full time jobs this year because things didn't work out like we had hoped last year when I was working KGC full time. Actually it's more like the 3 of us all have different visions and expectations of what KGC was and the direction it was going. I'm shutting down the website sales pages and the eBay listings and letting KGC online go dormant once all shipping has been accomplished. The 3 of us are currently in negotiations for me, Jerome, to possibly buy Koi Garden Club online from Koi Garden Club, Inc. I've spent a full year plus developing the relationship with you folks and it kills me to see it going down the tubes. My apologies to those of you that have had to deal with the stress of the past month or so. Please rest assured that I personally am trying to make sure everybody is satisfied before the doors close completely (for the time being!) Incidentally, we will continue to honor the 2 year guarantee even after the doors are closed. I will honor all guarantee terms if I become the new owner, or if not we will be offering refunds for the full two years regardless. FWIW, I didn't really pay too much attention to the aesthetic changes, since I realized immediately that the lack of compatibility with many of my 20 or so add-ons would make upgrading at this time more pain than gain. But in my case I already have done some customizing of the look with FF3: Tabs on Top (I guess I was way ahead of FF4 with that one ;-). When using Iron/Chrome I liked that compact feeling and tried to imitate it, using also the add-ons below:) Tiny Menu Hide GUI Bars (hides, among other things, the status bar, making it a pop-up at the bottom left that display only when needed) Hide Caption Title Bar (The title bar in any browser has always seemed like a big waste of space to me.) As I say, I didn't look too closely at the new look of FF4, so it's possible that some of these add-ons are incompatible precisely because they are no longer necessary. (Like the hidden status bar ? Does it pop-up on FF4 when needed ? Or maybe show in the address bar as in Opera ?) But others of my add-ons (Favicon Picker, Text Link, and some others) are also incompatible. Perhaps their functionality has also been incorporated into the default behaviour of FF 4 as well. Or not. Maybe I'll get brave enough to try upgrading again next week. I don't think a user with normal PC experience (and with neither exposure to nor understanding of the depths and bowels of the project) can knowledgeably assess whether or not to do a software update. Even someone with advanced technical knowledge can often not make sense of details gained from only an over-the-fence peek. My advice - accept all updates. When there are cosmetic or unintended hiccups, they're usually detected and fixed in days. For Windows, have restore points so that problems can be rolled back. For browsers, have two or more onboard and current. If one starts acting silly, use another for awhile. As far as differences between browsers? Eh, not really to my eye. They all do the same things the same ways. Some are smaller, some are larger. As with most software, most people don't need or use the bells and whistles so special features don't much matter.

Hi - here's my story: We cut our cable around the end of last year, after Spectrum "upgraded" their customers to new equipment, channel lineups, and we discovered that most of our favorite channels had become subscription only, which would cost extra over the already jacked up price for basic service, which had been reduced to only 21 channels for about $95/month. We have 1 Roku TV(a couple of years old now), and bought 2 Roku Express devices ($30 ea.) for the other 2 TVs in the house. We also have Netflix(already subscribed) and Hulu, and we're really enjoying all the new viewing we have access to now. Compared to the cable devices, Roku is a breeze. Their tiny remote has only around a dozen buttons, while the new remotes Spectrum sent had what looked like 100. And the Roku hookup was a breeze too, compared to all the wires and size of the cable boxes they sent, along with the need to purchase adaptor cables. Roku has 1 tiny box the size of a large pack of gum that plugs into the TV and the power outlet and you're done. FWIW, the cable co. had sent us 3 large boxes containing all the paraphernalia, which I packed up and returned to them. The whole turnover thing was a nightmare for a lot of people, and I believe they lost a lot of customers. When I first tried to return the boxes, I went to the offices, and there were lines of people out the door, with a tent set up as a waiting area in the parking lot, and I waited about 20 minutes to be told I was in the wrong place and this was just for tech support, and I needed to ship the boxes back, so please take them to the nearest FedEx office. I was given wrong directions too. At least the shipping was free when I finally found the place. We now have internet only service, with our own wifi router, and get hundreds of streaming channels for free, along with saving about $25/month on our Spectrum bill. Hubby and I both wonder why we didn't do it sooner. P.S. I also became a Passport member on PBS for $5/month, so I can watch my fave shows on there as well.
