Yet another overwintering question

Sorry, I searched before I decided to ask this question and read quite a bit. I am still confused. I have just 3 brugs. They are all a manageable size to bring in and grow as houseplants ( due to a mite infestation that took a severe toll on them, they are small again). So, should I continue to grow them through the winter in-house in a SW facing window or should I let them go dormant in the basement? There are so many different approaches, I am overwhelmed. If in the basement is best (45 degree minimum) should I put them in the dark part of the basement or closer to an east window? How much should I cut back? Should I remove all the leaves? The only thing I am sure of is that if they are in the basement I need to water very sparingly and prevent the wood from shriveling. I know this subject has been covered time and again and I apologize. Instead of answering (if you are sick of doing so) can you please direct me to a link or a post? thank you,.
