Another overwintering question

I planted Tamora (bare root from Austin)) in a pot on my patio this spring and it has been a joy. I do love this rose! In the past I have planted my potted roses in the garden early in September, but for lots of not so good reasons I have not gotten Tamora in the ground yet. I do not have a garage or porch. I do have an unattached shed and a bulkhead. I am thinking putting the pot in the shed would not be very helpful. Is it too late to plant in the ground? Would overwintering in the bulkhead be a better option and if so when should she go in? I live in Plymouth MA..zone 6B. I am not on the water.

Thank you for any advice you could give me.
