The Lily Auction is a great place to buy. But very addictive. Also you can get carried away and pay too much. Plus shipping charges can easily add up if you order here and there willy nilly. Plus while most of the sellers are at least adequate, afew are not much good and some are just absolutely fabulous. Some always give bonus, others never do. If rust is an issue watch out, not ALL gardens are rust free. In fact the very southern ones spray for rust but you can still get it. Also just because something is listed at a particular price doesn't mean its a bargain, prices really varry on there from seller to seller. If it said it reblooms, that means in Florida, not reblooms for you. Read the action description VERY carefully. Some are for immediate delivery, some for fall delivery which means after mid september and some only for next spring delivery. I personally would never buy something now for delivery next spring. Its like you are loaning that seller money so they can go out and buy the plant they are listing and then hope it increases. If they don't have it next spring, oh well too bad. They had had your money forever. You do get it back but like I said, like you loaned it to someone. However late in the fall and over winter it is common to list for spring and that works out well.

You dedicated folks should become members of Seed Savers Exchange if you really want to help preserve heirlooms. I've been a member since 1999 and have obtained many unusual peppers ( and tomatoes) as well as shared many of mine.At heritage Farm they maintain over 24,000 varieties of vegetables, including a lot of peppers Here is one from a member which is really a group of high school students here in Maine who grow heirlooms and offer them through SSE. From an expedition to the Northern Marianas Island of Tinian where they grow wild. Was offered in the annuum section but it has multiple pods per node which are semi deciduous and very hot. Hi Norma, This IS the Sans. forum, maybe you've been posting in several other different places? (I've sometimes mistaken which forum I was on at the time after making multiple posts in different places in a short time span.) Mike, W/ her illness, maybe she's not up for anything fancier or more demanding than the basics. I'd stick to basic Sans. first & see how she does w/ them. Just cause they're not fancy or 'unique' doesn't mean they can't be beautiful. I collect any & all that I run across. Some basic, some fancy, but I hate the yellow stripe of the common one, so of the 10+ different Sans. I have, NONE have a yellow stripe. Perhaps start out easy & try to collect any & all you can find locally first. The short, squat Hahnii types can be tricker, I find them to be more sensitive to overwatering than the regular & I have stopped trying to grow these after killing a few. Why not start by giving her just a couple of them & see how she does w/ them? Hi Penguin, Perhaps consider starting a separate thread asking info. on importing Sans. from Thailand, the Cytes/permits info. you'd likely need, etc. Am guessing the International Sans. Society would be a good place to ask about this; they likely already have some knowledge/experience about it.

I use a company out of WI that has a vinyl window with an wood interior. I've attached the link below. They have eight interior woods to choose from. As for getting a vinyl with to colors inside and out. It's not possible to do unless one side is painted. There are some out there but it's a dice roll on the quality. Good Luck!!!
