CL purchase, cherry entryway table....pic...
Comments (6)My suggestion would be to move the table so that it is completely on the tile, move the lamp to the other side, re-center and lower the picture, put your boxes on top of the console and add one larger piece to the top...perhaps a bowl to hold keys or mail. Adding baskets or a plant to the lower shelf would look great, too....See Moreopinions on several potential CL purchases please
Comments (12)Yes, the roundtopped mirror looks very good. The one there now makes me feel I might walk right through the glass if I was not paying attention. It gives substance to the end of your hall. I like the hall table. I think busybee3's idea of removing the long runner and using only a short one in front of the door would eliminate any off-center issues. I don't think the stacked chest will look right turned in the corner as you propose. It seems to need some breathing room. Even if you don't want a secretary there, one of those secretary bottoms with a slant top lid (and no high glass-doored hutch above) would have at least two good drawers beneath it. It might even double as a writing desk which is very appropriate in a library. If you go with something like the aforementioned piece, then you can without hesitation get the stacked chest for near the French doors. I think it will be more modular and fit in more places than the larger chest, which will basically put your chair totally in front of the French door. With the stacked chest, you might sort of keep one side of the chair paired with the chest and give more space to the passageway....See MoreAnd now my "very 2nd" CL purchase
Comments (14)Thanks Patty. The only other thing in the room is an old dresser and a little folding telephone table. The room is small; 12x14. I think the bed makes quite a statement. I am pretty sure I will have it painted the color of the trim. I may wait until the antelope carpet is in to make a decision....See MoreCL Purchase and Question
Comments (13)Battery charger still showing red, so not charged yet. LOL. I have added a link below (hope it works) to show the fabric. This is the chart I used to determine the repeat. If this is not correct, please let me know. Patterned Fabric Additional Yardage Estimation Chart Fabric Plain Repeat Repeat Repeat Repeat Repeat Repeat Width Fabric 3" - 14" 15"-19" 20"-27" 28"-36" 37"-45" 46"-54" 54" 0% 10% 15% 20% 25% 30% 35% 50"-52" 10% 20% 25% 30% 35% 40% 45% First add the fabric's vertical and horizontal repeats together (for example, a 7' vertical repeat plus its 10' horizontal repeat gives a 17' total). Then find the appropriate column on the chart, and increase the yardage estimate by the percentage indicated. For example: The yardage estimate is 5 yards of 54' wide fabric to cover a chair and the pattern on the fabric repeats horizontally every 10' and vertically every 7'. Add up the repeats (10' + 7' = 17') and find the appropriate column (15% for this example). 15 percent more fabric is needed to cover the chair while matching the pattern at the seams. 5 yards plus an extra 15 % is 5.75 yards. I can't get the chart to come out correctly even though I have worked and worked on it. In the very first row of numbers, the first 0% should be under the Plain Fabric and the very last 35% in the first row should be under the Repeat 46" - 54". In the second row of numbers the 10% is correctly shown under Plain Fabric and the end 45% should be under the Repeat 46" - 54". Hope this makes sense. (My head is spinning from trying to get this to come out. Just looked over to see if the battery is charged yet - it is not.) Here is a link that might be useful:...See Moreamykath
