30' Double wall ovens
Comments (32)Yes @rhome410 - I have an island in front of the refrigerator and the oven. Thanks for making sure I'm making the correct choice in the right swing or the left swing - Ideally left would have been good but then that comes in the way of the refrigerator door and that might also prevent it from opening completely. So going with right swing - so it opens completely and the counter that I will use will be the island. Have not purchased my appliances yet - my contractor needs my choice of appliances RIGHT NOW - for electrical and plumbing work that is being done right now! - So if needed I can change from right swing to left or down swing (with the down swing I'm afraid it will dent the refrigerator door (this happened in my current home!) Excited that I'm out of appliance paralysis! (keeping my fingers crossed for them to all work correctly when they get installed!!)...See Morebaking cookies on convection how many racks?
Comments (28)Here you go May! Heath Bar Cookies Ingredients 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cups chopped Heath Bar pieces (Eight 1.4 ounce bars) 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Method Heath Bars are popular American chocolate-covered-toffee candy bars. Heath Bar toffee bits are often available in the baking section of grocery stores. Either chopped up candy bars or the bits can be used for this recipe. The bars have chocolate, the bits don't. 1 Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside. In a separate bowl, combine Heath Bar pieces and chopped walnuts. Set aside. 2 Cream butter until fluffy. Add the sugar and continue to beat until light and fluffy (a couple minutes). Beat in eggs one at a time, and vanilla. 3 Alternatively mix in the Heath Bar mixture and the flour mixture, a third at a time, until well blended. Chill cookie dough for at least 30 minutes (better an hour). 4 Preheat oven to 350°F. On cookie sheets lined with parchment paper or Silpat, spoon out the cookie dough in small 1-inch diameter balls (size of a large marble). Place dough balls 3 inches away from each other on the cookie sheets. (Make sure there is plenty of room between the cookie balls, and that the cookie balls aren't too big. These cookies spread!) 5 Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are just starting to brown. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes about 6 dozen cookies....See Morehow to store my Wolf Baking Stone
Comments (1)First, you could pad the bottom of your cabinet so it won't scratch, which could happen even through fabric. Cushy cupboards, or cork, or something, might be nice. Polar fleece would be a good fabric to make a sleeve for it. It's very stable and easy to sew, inexpensive, comes in bright, pretty colors, and has some cushioning to it. It can't rot since it's made of polypropylene or something. I.e., pop bottles. Additionally, you could put some hooks against the wall of the cabinet and some rings on the sleeve to keep the stone from falling over. I'd say Velcro, but the adhesive on the cabinet side might give out. Good luck! I have a few different places in my new kitchen to put the stone and its element (Gaggenau). The ones near the oven are horizontal, however, and I'm thinking vertical might be safer......See MoreHands On With the New Wolf M Ovens: Good, Bad & Wish They Woulda'
Comments (319)I have now had the M series double oven for 5 years. (I posted on this thread before if you scroll up. FIRST ISSUE: I ran a self clean 2 times so far. 1st time, the blue enamel cracked a lot with a lot of debree. I have called Wolf and they basically ignored my problem. I didn't even get a call back. 2nd time I ran the self clean was 6 months ago. Same issue but lesser cracking. once the self clean was finished, I ran a wipe and collected debree again. SECOND ISSUE: the fan noise. goodness gracious is it loud. first when it starts heating up, and then once you are done cooking, when it cools off. you can hear it on another room. so would I ever buy it again? 💯 NOT....See Moresjhockeyfan325
