Lilo and Anneliese, please explain: what does "rutsch" mean? I've never heard the word, before. However, my senses tell me it refers to a break/change in the weather? If that's so, we experienced it, too. We've had some gentle rain and the high temp for the day is 70°. I'm loving the coolness!

We've had a heat wave for the past few days, anywhere from 90 to 100 degrees. The A/C has been going almost 24/7. We had a break in the weather today, it's only 83 degrees. It feels so good, I opened the windows and patio doors, and there is actually a small cross wind blowing through the house.

mawheel, rutsch means slide in German. and I Americanized the noun to a verb by adding the ed.
