Who has the best prices for Hancock & Moore sofas?
Comments (36)My store in Alexandria VA ships nationwide on Hancock and Moore, I have customers all over the country including many in Illinois. Send me an email to keepingroom@gmail.com and include the model number, the leather cover you are interested in and your zip code and I will get a quote back to you in less than 24 hours. Some notes on pricing. 1) Be sure you get a dealer that stands behind you after the sale, the lowest price is no good if they ignore your phone calls should there be an issue. 2) Home delivery services cost three times more than delivery to a commercial address (18 wheeler accessible off the back of the truck). If you have the capability to unpack it and transport the last mile to your home you can save quite a bit in that area. 3) There are significant price increase coming in January 2021. Supply chain costs have gone up considerably. 4) Century Furniture (Rock House Brands) owns Hancock and Moore. Century has already implemented collection of Sales Tax into Illinois for that brand, its only a matter of time before you will be paying sales tax on H&M into your state as they consolidate accounting systems, this is likely to happen in 2021 as well, along with all the other Rock House Brand Companies. Currently we are shipping Hancock and Moore without that sales tax added. Duane Collie...See MoreHancock & Moore sofa and Lexington questions?
Comments (18)UPDATE for BasketballMom..... SORRY I was incorrect on which sofa I sat on. I stated I sat on the Evening but it was the September sofa. Today we went back to Lexington Furniture for more research and help from the salesperson with which we're doing business. I like the looks of the Evening and a few others a little better than the Austin we are also considering. The Evening may work for us but we definitely need to consider the cushion type. When we sat in it we DID NOT lean way back (as we did in the September). However the cushions are Ultra Down/seat and back---they sit firmer. We're ordering anyway so we have a lot of options. H & M will make this sofa with their standard foam seat cushions along with Ultra Down back cushions if we wish. Whatever our choice, I feel we should keep seat and back cushions the same (all standard seat & back or all Ultra Down seat & back). Our salesperson and one of the owners really gave us a good education---we all learned something from fooling around with cushions today. Whether going with standard or down, all seating will "break in" and be more comfortable after some use. Try to find where you can sit in both types to see the difference. Standard cushions are more bouncy in a good way. In a furniture showroom some seating isn't as firm as when it first comes in due to being sat in and tried out. On three cushion sofas try sitting on the middle cushion and see the difference as to the side cushions---most people sit on a side cushion when trying out furniture. Lord the list goes on, doesn't it? I know exactly what I'm looking for so I will be traveling to Louisville and maybe Cincinnati to hopefully sit in an Evening with standard cushions or an Austin without the bustle back. I will be very clear, when approached by a salesperson, that I'm just looking. Good luck and let me know how your search goes....See MoreHancock and Moore Spencer sofa

Comments (1)Hi I have the Austin sofa and the matching chair / ottoman. Couldn't be happier with them, either, this is quality stuff. I went with a fairly standard grade leather because I bought them from Green Front furniture in NC. Green Front pre orders a few dozen of the most popular H&M items so that you can receive them more quickly - but obviously you have to like their choices. I have two cats who get on both chair & sofa and after 4 years I'm just starting to see scratches. I think with a dog's nails you won't have a problem....See Morelivesprings
