Any Success Stores On Adding
Electric Start To Gas Chainsaws? OR!
Starting with both hands on the drill.

I’ll hope to get enough “Whip
In My Arms” to start my two small 1980’s Poulan S25 gas saws this season. I have 3 Cords of Red Oak, Live Oak, Pecan
and Ash 4-12” dia that I have cut with my 12” McCullough Electric
Chainsaw. This is the 2nd season
that I have gone all electric. Thanks to
Tree Trimmers cutting and leaving the majority of the wood on the curbs (cut to
length) for Monthly Bulk City Pick-ups. Cut to Length encourage the wood will be
moved soon.

Our neighborhood is so old
(1950s) and the lots are so small, there are usually nice stacks close monthly. There are just a few of us that still burn
wood with fireplaces in at least 50% of the homes. This is almost a Dream for my Body that was
trying to convince me to pass on the wood (since starting about 1978 and yearly). The wood has been good exercise and heat.

I’ll consider adapting
electric starts to my gas saws vs restricting my cutting to electric saws. Gas is handy away from home toward loading
some nice logs when allowed. If I manually
prime the old saws that have chokes w/o primer bulbs, they usually fire on the
2nd pull. Otherwise, my body
c/n take the 4-5 pulls with the choke vs priming.
