Comments (11)Those are very unusual photos, caflower. I assume the oranges were frozen. Thanks for sharing the pictures. They often have to run fans (or something) in the Ojai area when it gets frosty. I remember when smudge pots were used; not sure if they do that anymore. I think it snowed as well back in the early 50's or maybe late 40's. Comments (21)No, I haven't heard the safety argument from my family. My daughter drives late model, high-end cars and thinks the Caprice is a) old, and b) will nickle-and-dime me to death. That doesn't seem likely. My son loves it as much as I do. My other vehicle is a Subaru, which is noted for safety. I'm glad it has that reputation, with air bags galore, but I feel just as safe in the Caprice. I love having all that metal between me and the drunks....See More
11 years agoLast evenings dinner guests..through the window and screen while it is raining. Counted 14 of these turkeys. They cross the very busy state road in front of the house. They don't seem to be in a hurry when doing so.
