Master Bath reveal...lots of pics!
Comments (14)Thanks for all the wonderful comments! We are thrilled with the outcome. kailuamom - We got all the stone at Western Tile in Dublin...they have another store in Concord. Great service and pricing...wonderfully run, family owned. The limestone is by Marble Systems and the color is either Seagrass or Olive Green...the two are often used interchangeably....See MoreMaster Bath reveal
Comments (36)phylhl, your bathroom is beautiful! I am in the final planning stages of a master bath renovation myself, and I have some questions about your bathroom. In a previous bathroom update, we used the same Rohl showerhead as your handheld, but as a fixed showerhead. I find that it is almost impossible to change the functions. It definitely takes both hands to do so, but even then, it is extremely difficult. I called Rohl about it and they said it is supposed to be tight. Are you finding yours difficult to change? I see something in your shower that looks like a hook--? Just below the decorative panel and in front of the bench. Is that what it is? And is that a towel bar inside the shower on the half wall next to the shower door? If so, what is the material and make of the towel bar? My husband and I both use washcloths and I am struggling with what to hang them on in our shower. I want everything to be pretty, but it also must be very functional. I am having a hard time meeting both requirements here. :) Last question: is that a Rohl country bath toilet paper holder? Have you had any problems with the TP hook falling off the wall trim piece? The one I used in my other bath kept falling off. Rohl replaced it twice, and I finally gave up and had a handyman glue the hook onto the trim piece to keep it from falling off all the time. Sorry this is so long--thanks for your response!...See MoreMaster Bath Reveal
Comments (17)OntarioMom, you are right, we had a soffit with can lights over the vanity before. Truly unflattering light. Removed it and went with wall lights above the mirrors. Although I like the lighting now, I can't say that I like the light fixtures themselves. They're incandescent (I did replace the standard bulbs in them with halogens) and would have looked better hung vertically rather than horizontally, but it was too late at the point that I figured that out . . ....See MoreSmall Master Bath Reveal
Comments (21)Debbie1031, so far I like the vinyl tile. I knew I did not want ceramic tile. I have trouble with my feet and legs and I wanted something softer. This is warmer and softer. My big decision was whether to get the grout less or the grout fill. I chose the grout fill so that I could choose the grout color. We have the grout less in our church and it has held up very well. Linelle, I mostly take baths but my kids take showers and they like the curved rod. I chose this for when they come visit....See Morellcp93
