Many aluminum clad wood should or would have a prefinished interior however the only ones I would even consider mentioning are going to be in the same price range.

Now that being said what type of windows are they? Are you married to aluminum clad wood or would you consider a quality vinyl or fiberglass unit?

We are building in a historic district, and we have to do an aluminum clad wood window OR fiberglass. I would definitely consider fiberglass, but based on my research, most companies do not do a prefinished black interior. They are usually different shades of white or primed. That is true for aluminum clad wood and fiberglass. For instance, neither the Marvin Ultimate nor the Integrity line comes prefinished black in the interior. Pella Impervia does a prefinished black interior and exterior, as does the Milguard Ultra.

You would save a pretty penny by just ordering the Integrity and having them site painted. What color is the casing going to be? If it needs to be painted, its easier to do it all at one step.
