Yesterday's adventure. My sister, nephew and I went to Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve, the site of thousands of fossils of the oldest complex life forms found anywhere on earth. You can only go with a guide and it's a 45 minute walk one way (after a 2 1/2 hour drive from the city). It was very interesting.

The huntsman and several other members brought the hounds a mile or so down the road to a pond for a swim, and then back to the kennels. It was also the first time out for some of the younger hounds. I think I "liked" them all--or simply got too distracted to remember to click it. :-) Had to really look for the spider, And gazania's perfectly titled "higher aspirations" made me smile. Bob's underwater shots were as if I was seeing them in person. Everyone going out on adventures. Or walking on a slant (one of my legs is longer than the other, but not by that much!). 8 years agoEver try to get a picture of a Cabbage White Butterfly. They are the most nervous creatures and nearly impossible to catch at a standstill.
