Chemocurl - no problems at all copy/paste and quote all you want,,,,if it means getting pictures posted, I'm all for it. Many message boards don't seem to have decent instructions on posting pics, if they have any info at all. Comments (5)I build my bins exactly like yours except I don't: Use hardware cloth, screening, newspaper with colored ink, cloth, or foam. I do: Punch holes in the bottom (easier to guard against and regulate excess water and eliminating the need for foam and cloth.) Use black-ink newspaper only (I know MOST papers use the colored inks that are supposed to be safe, but...) I've made bins with perforated pvc pipe in the bottom for drainage, screen wire, wiffle balls, etc, etc. I found that the best way for me to control moisture in plastic bins is add it only when the newpaper begins to dry out. Comments (42)instead of chicken wire try fiber from your local cement co. it comes in small bags, cheap, easy to use and very strong. they use it in concrete floors instead of rebar. i have elephant ear leaves that have stayed together for 10 years. you might be able to get it lowes or building supply store....See MoreOutsidePlaying
