In what part of Oz land do you live? Can you put your Meyer in the ground? They are much easier to deal with when planted in the ground. Pictures would help, of course. If it is in a pot now; and you are going to plant it in the ground, you only have to dig a hole a little bigger than the pot; carefully take the tree out of the pot (for me I always choose to destroy the pot to preserve the rootball) and put it in the hole. Back fill with the dirt from the hole , water it in well and wait. When it begins to make new growth you can begin a regular fertilizer regime; but not before; the absence of nutrients encourages the roots to grow seeking food and water; and with citrus, first the roots grow and then leaves and branches.

why all the hostility and personal attacks? We are all here to help and offer the best advise to the best of our ability and knowledge. Its quite obvious that most of us are just "hobby" growers. I dont see the leaf minor damage or slug damage but then again Im not an expert. I will say this that in the 3 years I have had citrus and tropicals I have never had leaf minors on any of them here in Oklahoma where the OP lives. I dont think they are as common as areas that are more inclined to grow citrus. I could be wrong but thats my experience. I am however an expert in dealing with our intense Oklahoma sun which on a hot August day can literally fry an egg on a sidewalk, Ive seen it done. In fact some of my trees suffered damage exactly like what the OP's leaves did when we had 3 weeks straight of 105F+ and low humidity. Some of you may not know or care but Oklahoma set the all time average high of 89.1F for the month of July and august wasnt to far behind. Oh and John I produced three meyers this year so Im getting close,LOL. Mike

The Meyer, in container has a semi-well deserved reputation for being "finicky" , but if you are a fan of Meyer lemons, it is a small price to pay. First, when you dramatically change the light conditions a Meyer will drop most, if not all its leaves, to replace them later with leaves better suited to the new light conditions. To move a Meyer from outside to inside without the leaf loss, you need to move it from full sun to partial sun for 2 weeks; then to full shade for 2 weeks; then indoors; reverse the process when putting it out in the Spring... and please DO put it out, if you can; you will be rewarded with a happy, healthy plant. Second, when you bring it indoors to a sunny window, the plant gets warm; but the roots generally stay cool; and citrus roots don't like to grow into cool soil... the solution is to put some sort of heater to warm the soil, or to put the plant a little further from the window. The thing to remember is first the roots grow; and then the leaves and branches. Last, get it out of that Terra Cotta pot. In cool climates the evaporation from the clay creates salt build up, and cools the soil... citrus roots do not like to grow into cool soil.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. What would be a good fertilizer brand to use? Could you maybe send a home Depot link for what you would recommend. I got the organic fertilizer because the home Depot guy told me to, but I'm not partial to it. Just looked in my garage and u have a 10-8-8 fertilizer. Would that work or should I go with a 8-8-8? Also silly question but what would be the best way to set up the fertilizer. It is watered with a irrigation system with a button dripper. Last time I fertilizered it I spread it equally around the tree. I hand watered it for 3 days after but the fertilizer didn't really dissolve. Life gets busy and u don't really have the time or energy to hand water it every day. And here in Phoenix we dont get a lot of rain. Would it be a good idea to put the fertilizer only in the drippers area instead of around the tree? Thanks for the help
