Oh yay!! I have a small version of the anacampseros. Now, I know what it is! I'm running out right now to plant a label with name in it's pot. :] Chicagardens, that is a nice specimen. So full and plumpy. This post was edited by aztcqn on Sun, May 18, 14 at 15:50

What you are seeing in this picture is to front paws being followed by the rear making a pentagonish shape. When you measure this animal you want to measure the distance between the two rear paws because this is the width of the animal. Since you are in New England like me, you will be dealing with mice, chipmunks, and squirrels that will all look very similar to this. The measurement in inches are mice 1+, chipmunks 2+, red squirrels 3+, and gray squirrels 4+. This is very likely your chipmunk. keep tracking ;)

very cute, thanks for that; the last picture is a dog that was rescued from Vicks, nice to see he's fine. Here is a link that might be useful: watch and smile

We have some sense of things with the side view of plants. Regarding Cyclamen, I would say in the eastern US one would never find a seedling unless the gardener was already growing tubers or had planted seed. It's just not something that appears. They are tricky to grow here and need the right spot. Cyclamen purpurascens is basically evergreen while other species go dormant. C. purpurascens with a seedling next to it today. C. hederifolium in flower now another blurry shot of C. hederifolium , you can see the coil where it has begun setting seed. a copied quote ..". spent stems spiral earthward, thus earning its Greek derivation from cyclo or circle." C . purpurascens, very fragrant flowers.
