Ok, I have been dying to tell a car guy this story. Please pass it on and see what he says. I have a picture of myself, sorry I don't have it to post, and my dad all dressed up back in 1972. I was 6 and it is my all-time favorite pic. He and I are standing next to the jeep we had. Well, we always called it the jeep. Well, recently my jeep loving husband looked at the picture closely. It is an original Toyota FJ. My dh said that at that moment my dad became the coolest man ever to him. I mean, he owned an original. So he called up dad to see what the story was. Turns out my dad bought it brand new!! Brand New I say! Now for the rest of the story. Mom made him trade it in for a crayola blue colored VEGA. A VEGA!! My dh said at that moment my dad literally lost his man-card. No longer will he be seen as the coolest man ever. So sad. I think my dh needs to take my dad 4xing in my dh's jeep wrangler rubicon and assure him that under no condition would he ever, and he would mean ever, allow me to make him give up the card! By the way, frame it!

The heads and bodies are olives, small and jumbo, and the feet are carrot rounds with a wedge cut out. Then you slice the wedge in half and stick it through the big hole and out the other end for the head. I cut a strip out of the bodies and then piped ranch cream cheese into them and stuck a toothpick down through the whole thing. It did take a couple hours but it was kind of fun and yes, it was a hit!

Oh my gosh. What a beautiful video. The little ones jumping with joy and having so much fun..you can almost hear them squeal with laughter. And the mother watching and enjoying as well. It made me smile. The best part is the whispering in the background as the mother taking the video whispers to her children to "shussh" and watch the miracle before them. As you can tell I love animals..and am very touched by the video. Thanks for sharing. ~Susan

I've never seen one in bloom before, pretty nice.

I agree abt the ID, & also point out those hairy fibers they have which came up in discussion recently where I believe I mistook them for mealy bug on someone's plant photo (so sorry).

Ha! Just bought that plant this evening....had no idea where to start my search... mine has flower buds, but no colour yet. Thanks RoRo...

No, thankfully someone else caught my error & suggested it was that Anacampseros fiber thing (tho' I was not alone in thinking it was mealy, several others did too).

In PG's defense, the picture she is referring to wasn't the most clear. If I remember correctly, it was a little blurry.

Oh yay!! I have a small version of the anacampseros. Now, I know what it is! I'm running out right now to plant a label with name in it's pot. :]
