Fall Planting Sugar Snap & Dwarf Grey Snow Peas

I would like to try planting a Fall crop of Sugar Snaps and Dwarf Grey peas, but I'm wondering if I've waited too late to plant. I'm in North Central Arkansas zone 7a/6b. Our average first frost date is October 25. Days to maturity is about 60 putting me at mid-October. Will the vines continue to produce until a hard freeze or will the first frost kill them?
