Peppers rotting before ripening.. doesnt look like blossom end rot

The subject line isnt as dire as it sounds.. My jalapenos, cayenne and hab plants are very healthy and lush green. After battling BLS last summer, it has not shown its ugly head this year. But I'm having an odd occurrence... The plants are healthy and producing above average yields... Weather has been hot and humid but not a lot of rain. The issue is that some of the fruit on these plants are not ripening, but rotting.

1. Jalapenos - "caps" of the pepper turn yellow and the pepper falls off. Pepper shows some brown spots, but NOT at the bottom which would suggest blossom end rot

2. Cayennes - random brown spots on the pepper.. Some fall on the ground.

3. Habaneros - random brown spots on pepper. Some fall to the ground.

I want to make it clear most of the fruits are fine. But this is not something I've ever dealt with before... thoughts?
