Cuban tree frog?

I know this is probably the wrong place to post this, but it is the most active site. My husband found this frog in our front yard. We live only 8 miles from the Florida border. A Cuban tree frog was found in the adjacent county last year. The photos aren't the best. It is a lime green frog with brown oval spots on it. It has no warts. It has a white line on the outside of its legs and up the length of it's body. It doesn't have red eyes or the yellow flesh near the body. I googled Cuban tree frogs and frogs of North Florida and I didn't see one that looks like this frog.

After a quick search I came across this site with a list of frogs and toads in South Carolina and Georgia. It appears to be a barking tree frog.

I have heard of barking spiders but never heard of barking tree frogs. LOL

I need to get me a couple. They would be much cheaper to feed than my barking lab!

I believe so. The skin is too bumpy to be any of the native Treefrogs.

We have a veritable orchestra of Cuban Tree Frogs frolicking under our bedroom window. The vocal evidence of amphibious love is deafening at 2am!! While I do NOT want to obliterate them, I would LOVE to discourage them from using this garden space as their little private Club Med. Help, anyone??????

THANK YOU for taking the time to respond - Great link! My CTF's have indeed decimated the population of geckos, other frogs, lizards, and ....come to think about it, just about EVERYTHING else! U of F has always been a great resource, and although I resisted physically removing my little invaders, it sure has been far quieter since then! I can step outside my porch at night now and hear the sound of their enthusiasm 8 houses away! Amazing vocal capacity for such a little critter. And yes, I DID notice a burning sensation on my hands (through the gloves) when I picked them up. Many thanks again...... sorry to be so long in responding, fhfchrish.
