Comments (10)Hi Kelli~A few years ago I found these folks and they helped me along the way as I planned my Ozarks gardens...still have so much to learn, but one thing you can count on ...they are always there for you and they are the most encouraging and supportive group on the Gardenweb! I had to to move away for a while and spent some time in the northeast and tried to hook up with those folks, but is just wasn't the same...now I am in the Pacific and where do I still go?? Back to the Ozarks (where I hope to return one day)...and I am still drawing on their sense of family and knowledge... You'll love it here and will learn a lot ......See MoreOh my! oh my! Comments (6)Thanks Lisa!! First thing I did this morning when I got up was to go to the window to see if they were at the box and they were! They were there for about an hour and a half when I had to take dd to school. They weren't there when I got back but showed back up again around 9:30, now I haven't seen them since. They had both been going in the box, once I saw them both go in the box together too which I figured was a good sign. I am not freaking out yet that they went somewhere else, well yes I am but I am not admitting it. LOL! I recall last year when we got a pair of Blues in mid June that they took forever to get settled. Last year I saw them on a Monday and then the female was MIA for the next five days however the male stayed around singing his heart out. Then the female showed back up and two days later started building a nest. So I am hoping they have chosen this box and right now are just relaxing a bit until they are ready to get down to business again. DOnna...See MoreMMMmm my house smells soooo good!
Comments (16)No problem, Ci_lantro! When I typed the recipe, there were spaces between items. g-web doesn't like the way I do my recipes, I guess. Sometimes they don't even like spaces between lines when I post a comment. The flavor is great. Even without it being made with my grandmother's home made applesauce, it still is one of the recipes that tastes like I remember it as a kid. Grandma had a small orchard that had mostly Jonathon and McIntosh apples in it. She always left the peel on the apples when she cooked them for sauce, and it was always PINK applesauce. She never canned it, just froze it. To this day, I don't like most store bought applesauce. It just doesn't taste right. And if I find one I do like, the next time I buy it, it doesn't taste the same. Tami...See MoreMy house smells so good!
