Great flea market find I almost got

I really wanted one of these "burden baskets." They're authentic, Mexican Indian carrying baskets, at least 50 years old. Made from woven rawhide with rims of old tires, pipes, and woods. Only $30, which I think is a steal. I was thinking about stuffing one with moss and plants, but in the end I decided I really didn't have anywhere to put it.

Here are a couple more pics from my shopping trip. This place isn't really a "flea market," but rather a group of second hand stores, as well as these places that import this furniture direct from Mexico. Really cheap here, since I'm on the border. I have a couple of these pieces.
I thought this altar/nicho thing was well done, although not really my thing.
