White granite maintenace -seal and seam questions?

I did my kitchen remodel 2+ years ago, with White Ice granite. It takes beating - as a craft counter where my kids paint, etc. and we eat at least one meal a day on it, etc. I wipe it down every night so I've had no issues with staining at all. Is there anything more I should be doing to ensure long-term beauty? Should it be re-sealed at any time? If so, how? My other question is about my seam. The grout in my seam (which was never perfect to begin with but I 've gotten over it) has begun to erode - and it's over the utensil drawer, so I have to be careful not to let water spill over the seam, otherwise small amounts of water can drip into my drawer. Is that something I can touch up myself or do I need a fabricator to redo my seam? I would not use my fabricator again ( because he didn't do a great job the first time around) and it's such a small job I don't think anyone would want it - so I'm hoping I can do it myself. Ideas?
