Sobralia 'Angelica' is making up for skunking me last year, by producing 8 flowering stems of these 5-6" flowers this year.

Casey, your House of Assembly is really beautiful! It looks very civil. I hope your Assembly behaves better than ours! :) Mine is the Statehouse in Austin, Texas. It is a neat building too. I didn't take any pictures of the meeting rooms because the building was officially closed for the day when I was in there.

I'm glad that no one bashed Bud catching a bird. I am totally against people who let their cats loose to roam free in the neighbourhood, killing birds, pooping in flowerbeds and being at risk for their own lives. But Bud was on his balcony, surveying his kingdom. I'd love to know how he even caught the bird. Whether it was on the floor, on the railing, I don't know. He's on a partial raw diet......he won't transition to raw completely, and he does like chicken. He won't eat the beef, pork, kangaroo, turkey, rabbit meats, but he does love our meat that I prepare. Beef, pork, chicken, hamburger, etc. I gave him and Roxie a smelt that was cut up, and this was his reaction......

It is sometimes surprising where they leave their fawns. We had a doe with twins hanging around our house last summer. One day, I opened the front door because I was going to town and there was a tiny fawn sleeping next to the front step. Not wanting to disturb it, I ended up not going to town that day.
