Meyer lemon with yellowing leaves

Matt Graham

Hi I bought this Meyer lemon back in April and it produced about 40 fruit the size of a pea. Initially it started to lose 3 to 5 fruit a day but after a few weeks I ended up with 18. So over the last couple months we have been hammered by rain...29 inches in May and June. Right now the leaves are yellowing from the inside out. I'm wondering if it is because of too much rain or too much fruit or maybe not enough nutrients. I have fertilized with a citrus pellet in the container that has good drainage. My guess is too much fruit as my lime tree has lush green leaves and only one fruit growing.

Thanks for your help with my little lemon tree.

Matt
