Update on Kindle Word Insertions

Here's an update on Kindle word insertions: my sister in FL and I play a word game on line, and there's a space for a short message in each move that is made. We make moves so often, it's an ongoing conversation.

Anyway, she used the phrase "fuddy duddies" in describing the two of us. When I tried to use that phrase on the Kindle, it was turned in to "giddy buddies'!, which may be true, too. We now have a new term to describe the two of us.

I have searched the settings on the word game and Kindle, too, and know the option of the 'word insertion' can be turned off--I just haven't found it yet. In the meantime, it's always a surprise to read what Kindle thinks I want to way. Bottom line is that I'm using the computer to play the game. I'll still make word/spelling mistakes, but at least, I will have made them.
