Hello all!!

For the last few days, when I am on FB, I noticed my arrow always have thing the little circle right next to it like it's loading......then I get an e-mail saying is this me loggin in and as soon as I clicked YES, it's me I just noticed that it was not my IP address....too, late, already clicked......I have gone back and changed all passwords on FB and my e-mail.....but it still says where I am logged in is "unknown" and when you put my mouse over it it is NOT my IP....it's in Texas and I am in Indiana....Plus, it's loading or something all the time.....there is no way to "end activity" except from my FB for Android which is another wrong IP address....but I think since I said it was me, when IT WAS NOT, I am screwed.....I am not the best on computers....I think when I change my passwords, it doing it for the wrong person, or whoever.....am I making since to you?

No pop ups but I've noticed the same activity circle on Facebook for a couple of days.

I am having a similar problem with facebook with what I call the Ringo thing like something is loading. I havent gotten any pop-ups though.I hope there is a reasonable explanation since I am not computer savvy either. Christine

hmm.I thought I had commented here but it was likely another thread about those super attractive facebook ads. There was another company that kept coming up on my facebook feeds- talk about great targeting. The styles were exactly what I want. I started seeing tons of favorable comments, and from time to time a poster asking for more info. The ads I saw only had Made in USA (not a specific). Itried googling with the name, and nothing came up. I commented on the post asking where in the USA it was made, and they replied South Carolina. I then googled and did find an address in South Carolina, but it was clearly not any place for manufacturing. If I remember correctly, the google earth image was of a store front in a strip mall. Probably just a mailing address or maybe a shipping depot. I decided not to bother ordering. @Allyson Gillinder My husband had ordered from one of these sites-- a jacket that actually was really great but was not the size it was supposed to be. He reached out and was told he needed to return it. Yes shipping and all was going to cost plenty and they said "once received" they would initiate the credit. Since he didn't want to spend another $20 or $30 to ship it as a gamble, he disputed the charge. He also posted some very negative reviews. It took a few weeks, but the charge was ultimately reversed. I offered the jacket on buynothing. It's definitely worth disputing.

What really struck me was the warmth of the first with color and fabric and softness and a more human proportion and cozy feel given the shape of the room. The other feels, yes refrigerator! It feels cold to me. I think I'd have to wear a sweater even on a summer's day. The noise and echoing would be awful, especially if you have quite a few people in there doing things...clattering dishes, cooking, watching TV, talking, etc. And physically colder trying to heat the volume in that space would be difficult. And as far as luxury, the former has it for me far more so than the latter. We have "open concept" in our kitchen/breakfast nook/family room area...though it's not a large space. It's large enough for entertaining as everyone hangs out in the kitchen anyway and this way there's room for everyone. It's cozy enough for just the 2 of us. Even at that it can get noisy when one is doing dishes or cooking and one is watching tv. DH uses wireless headphones in the a.m. so I don't have to listen to his station. It definitely is a shared space. We have lots of other "away" spaces in the house which we also make use of frequently. I'm not sure I could live with having the bulk of my home completely open though. Once rooms reach a certain proportion, they feel more public than private..

I visit FB very seldom, but when I do make comments, I never say anything that I would want to hide from anyone. My own FB page is available for anyone to view with no restrictions, but very few people view anything that I post - probably because I post so seldom - on average, about once a month. I emphatically do not trust FB or Zuckerberg. You cannot expect much for free. Better to send private messages if you want what you say to be private.

Oakley, closet clean-out is very popular on FB (not market place but regular FB) around here, especially with the young adult crowd. I've never seen anyone show the actual closet though! Ida, love the pottery. I really like that chest in your second picture too. The secretary is in our great room. : )

No pop ups here either, and yep, circle on my arrow and I notice a different IP on both my phone and computer....it's not mine, it's in Texas....did you guys notice that?

Oh, and then I get an e-mail saying when I logged in..that never happened befor....that i it's all messed up, but I believe I started it when in the e-mail they asked if it was me, and I said yes, right as I saw that the IP was in texas and not mine....I can not for the life of me figure out how to get ride of that.....

No more little circle by my arrow....That disappeared and seems normal....But the IP's are different still.....they say Unknown....Thanks!!

Lucygoose, I noticed that you have a lot of concern about the IP address being from a different state. What are you using to look up the IPs? What sort of network is it? What provider? Do you ever use VPN?

Hi....I look on FB.... I go to settings, then security, the click on Where your logged in......it tells you.....

See, I think I really screwed up when this e-mail came to me saying someone logged in, is this you, yada, yadda.....now I can't remember, and click happy me said YES, right then I noticed that was not my IP nor where I live.....

Christine, circle here but it's slow loading, so I do not know what is worse.....like even right now here, I type wut it takes a few second to see the word....

Ok, I went to see what you meant. Mine shows the correct location in both Firefox and Chrome. Maybe you should report it to Facebook.
