Huntsville Botanical Gardens Spring Plant sale
Comments (1)I'll be there on the Wednesday night event, and my DH is volunteering on a couple of mornings too....See MoreSpring Plant Sale - Huntsville Botanical Garden is almost here!
Comments (2)I was there from 2:30 - close... Bought two carts full (and I'm going back on Sunday...) I bought some of everything... assorted perennials, several "natives", two water plants, a southern lilac (it's bushy with tiny leaves and heavenly scented flowers), several red flowering tabacco, evergreen clematis, some cherry tomatoes, a few "bog" plants, some other flowering shrubs (including 4 different buddlieas) and numerous other plants. I wanted a tri-color Japanese Maple, but they didn't have any this year. Got to go back this weekend - "just in case"! Smiles to all... Comments (9)So glad I could help maggiepatty! Are you seeing a show at Ravinia or the Botanic? We lived walking distance from Ravinia and could sit on our porch and hear the concerts most nights and not have to deal with the crowds! I do miss that. Ravinia is the summer home for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and they bring in phenomenal guests in addition to the pop-rock-jazz-blues nights - and dance. Sigh. Enjoy. And if you're looking for a place to eat nearby, let me suggest Abigail's. You won't be disappointed. Second choice would be Merlo's right up the street....See Morestrawchicago z5
