Comments (17)It was a really long day for me. Left home at 7:30 and didn't get back until 6:00. (Playaway golf group and the course was an hour and 1/2 away.) Had a great lunch at a great restaurant.....It's not all about golf. LOL I had a delicious Caesar salad topped with the best fried oysters and there were plenty of them! Comments (17)We went out with our Wine and Dine group last night....delicious crab cake and filet dinner. You could cut the filet with a butter knife. I saved half for dinner tonight. DH doesn't want dinner until Christmas day. I'm sure he'll find something here to eat but wants to lose weight. Not the way to do it but since I won't have to cook, who am I to argue. Comments (6)Jasdip, we put a big pork butt on the grill over the weekend and enjoyed it with a pile of slaw. It's a full day commitment but seemed like a good Labor Day weekend project. Last night, I made a garlicky, gingery chicken stir fry with lots of fresh vegetables, served with brown rice and toasted almonds.
