Newbie here. The fiancé and I tried to do more than just the usual basil and mint for cocktails this year. We have 5 tomato varieties, 3 peppers, various herbs. Tomatoes leaves all began to turn brownish black pretty quickly after potting, we are in chicago and have had a very wet humid start to summer so I thought I had identified it as early blight or septoria and sprayed with a copper spray... Yester day I noticed the buds were covered in these tiny insects... I sprayed with a soapy solution seems to have killed them I need some professional help here, are these aphids? All the leaves are turning brown blackish... Help please!
