Hi Les, can you take a picture of it? There is a forum called Name that Plant that you rarely ask about anything that someone there doesn't know even if it's from a description. The only thing I can think of it may be would be a Crown Imperial lily that come in red or yellow. Maybe they sent that thinking that it was the red one. Does that ring a bell? Leaning that way too, Dave. I have that plant. Went outside to look at it just now. The older leaves have lines of sori (spores) on the back, but the newer ones do not. The 1st pic looking down from the top is still making me hesitate to call it that though. Had this plant for a couple years and it always has a 'hole' in the middle where new leaves are forming. In the above pic, the one leaf could just be flopped over, hiding that from view, or it may not be as pronounced in a more juvenile plant, IDK. I think A. antiquum has been relegated to synonym of A. nidus.

It's a St. Johnswort for sure, however, that's the best I can do. Most of these are native but you will have to check with local experts on the pictured species. This plant is not the eurasian species that is used as an anti-depressant herb.
