I took this photo a couple of days ago, don't think I've posted it already. Judy in the Sky is a great plant. You can see the brown leaves, I'm having more of that this year than usual. And I see now I didn't get all the mushy flowers pulled off. Oh well, you have an idea. I kinda like a plant that grows upright & clustered like this so all the flowers look like a big bouquet.

Citrix is the only reason I placed an order with Maryott last fall. I don't think it has quite the color of the photos I've seen, but sure looking good to me

I've shown Butterfly Moon before, but gotta show it again

Westbourne Easter egg Hunt is the best Westbourne in my garden. The flowers are a good size, nice wide open, & often look very blue. I guess it depends on temps or humidity level. Please ignore the weeds!

A new plant to my garden, Bluegrass Memories, its first bloom.

We got a lot of rain yesterday, at least an inch here, hopefully that will help the daylilies. Been quite dry lately.

Butterfly Moon is my favorite so I'm glad you are posting it again. Bluegrass Memories stands out also....My Citrix never was the color of yours. I ended up giving mine away because it had no substance and melted by early PM, but the color stayed true. Maybe the color will deepen as it ages. Is yours in all day full sun?.....Maryl

Thats a 12" fan with louvers from Grainger. Paid about 120 bucks for it. They only cater to businesses though. I have seen similar fans elsewhere for around the same price. I still need to install the vents opposite the fan near the floor. AT this time I go out and open the window and it draws the air in from the window, but its too close to the fan so I don't get perfect ventilation. IT certainly does make a difference though. I was running about 119f until I installed it and now I am closer to 85-90f

Thank you all for looking and for taking the time to comment on mmy blooms. NANCY, I am so happy that your MISSISSIPPI MAN bloom opend wide for you today as its such a gorgeous bloom and a big one, too.,hope you post a picture of it for us. You are amazingly well-organized. Taking care of that looks like a full time job. However, bromeliads are a bit easier to take care of than some other plants, which is one of the reasons I am switching over to having more of them. Your staghorn ferns seem to be getting quite a bit more light than mine is, and so maybe mine is too sheltered.

Judy in the Sky is a beautiful clump. I love that orchid lavender color. Is it diamond dusted? Judy in the Sky should have some diamonds. :) The Westbourne is a lovelly clump too. I think my favorite is Butterfly Moon. Great patterned eye with pleasant lavender petal color.

How does Bluegrass Memories hold up in the sun? Certainly a good pic of it by you. My fave is the clump of Easter Egg Hunt.

Citrix is that color in my garden. It is not a vigorous grower but pretty flowers.

That clump of Judy in the Sky is really pretty. I like that a lot.Butterfly Moon is a beauty, tooW. easter egg unt is a very nice clump too, but, my favorite one isBluegrass Memories.I have wanted that one since it came out. its beautiful. and so is your picture of it.

Maryl, I hope the next flowers deepen more like I've seen. Mine is planted in full all day sun.
Sarah, Judy in the Sky is one of my many favorites :) As much as anything I like the way the scapes seem to group together, nice & tall.
Debra, I'll have to look closer, but I've never noticed diamond dusting, but you are definitely right, it should be with that name! I really like the pattern on Butterfly Moon, I should enlarge a photo of it & hang it on my wall :)
Mantis, so far I don't know how well Bluegrass Memories will hold up. I'll let you know in a few days. Today was its first bloom & it has been overcast all day, plus a real downpour just a few minutes ago. Easter Egg Hunt holds up really well though, looks as good at the end of the day as it does in the morning, but of course, it doesn't have that rich color that tends to fade so much.
I would like the color of Citrix to get a bit darker, but will be happy if it stays this color too. Too bad it isn't a vigorous grower, I hope it will do ok here. At least it overwintered, I moved a lot of daylilies last fall-didn't divide just dug the clump-& several came back much smaller this spring. I guess the harsh winter didn't set well after being moved. I was happy to see that all the ones I purchased survived the winter.
Thank you Jean, I really like the blue eyed daylilies, I don't have but 3 or 4 I think, & this is different from any of them. I'll be interested to see how well it holds up in the sun. I was pleased that it wasn't blotchy & opened nicely.

All very pretty Nancy but the clump shot of Westbourne Easter Egg Hunt is my favorite. I use to grow it here and it is vigorous and always opened perfectly. I like that you placed it near a solid purple showing in the background. It mades WEEH pop. Judy In The Sky has such a nice lavender tone. I'm glad to hear reports about Citrix.

Nan, love the clump shots. I have been wondering about getting Citrix and from hearing all the comments it makes me put this one at the bottom of my list. The comments recently about this one have put me off. I love WEEH too, nice rich color.
