What bird makes this sound?

I woke up the other morning and thought that an electronic device was left on...maybe an alarm clock? Only to find it was a bird outside...didn't see it, only heard it. It reminded me very much of the sound you hear when you leave your keys in Honda vehicle only it was 3 beeps instead of 4.

If you go to this link and listen to "Electrical beeps negative alarm", it is very similar to what I heard.

I'm in the Northeast if that helps, with fair amount of woods around and it did sound as if it was coming from the woods.
