Hi,

I want to share with you and maybe someone form you will recognize this specie of obliqua jade.

I have standard Crassula ovata var.obliqua - the green form.

Last year I bought here in Slovakia one small plant of Obliqua but with purple leaves from the bottom side. The seller told me, that it is not the standard green obliqua, he had few of them and all have been purple/red.

I decide to wait and was growing them in the same conditions just abreast. And yes, there is difference between them.

Do you have some experience with this? Too much anthocyanin produced?

The older leaves are getting purple color also from the top side.

Martin

on the left side Obliqua with purple/red leaves, right the standard green obliqua
