Thank you for the great feedback so far. No one thinks I could get away with divided lights? As far as changes, we are changing the windows on the far left (bottom floor) to french doors. They will match the French doors on the top floor above it. We are changing that whole section of the house to stone (top and bottom floor). The other areas where you see siding (in the center part of the house), these will be bricked in. The columns will be changed out to stone. We are getting a new cast iron balcony railing on the second floor. And if the homeowner's association approves, we are extending the space on the far right about 10 feet to create a garage with double wooden entry doors. Opinions? I also have a question... Does anyone know which French doors have the widest glass area - Anderson Eagle, Neuma (or) Marvin Integrity? We have a view in the back of the house and want to maximize it with the best door choice. I cannot seem to find these specs anywhere. -are you going to paint the desk, or love as is? asking to understand whether you love olive (or is it avocado?) green -would you rather paint the breakfront unless concern for authenticity? it might be added later. looks nice. '67 is still era of stained..at least as much as I know. Others here will know better. frankly I'd leave stained..even if I didn't like it..somebody lazy like me would just find the right knobs..if you love green-say something green..strong..geometric..or white..or white and green..and bigger than current one. I think it will look cool with bolder, bigger knobs. The current ones are too small, don't do it justice. (the knobs can be bold flowers too..or owls:) but your choice of the sectional suggests you like geometry more..am I right? I might be very easily wrong though) lots of knobs on Etsy. I even found several for you. but afraid to post it:) since I'm not sure of your preferences yet. and then I'd fill it with things I love and make it work another option-to try and change the stain if you actively dislike it. Hard to see what wood it is..if walnut I'd leave as is for sure. but I can't tell from the pics

If you are not in love with the brick being exposed, I would consider painting the brick/garage door/walls/stucco below the siding a different shade of the same grey you choose for the siding. Have you tried uploading the photo to one of the paint sites to try out different schemes?

The paint colors should be reversed on your house. Your windows and trim should be the darkest color pulled from the brick a very dark charcoal brown while the panels should be the lighter color within that dark color span. Because I don’t have a straight on shot of you house, it is very difficult to paint your house in a way that would show you what I am talking about via the computer. Here is another house - that had a similar issue. Hopefully you will understand what I am saying.
