I would love to have blooms in September. We will see. The first time I bought late bloomers from Olallie what I did is I went thru their late blooming section. They list when they bloom there in Vermont. So I choose ones that they say bloom starting in September. That means when I bring them down here they start to month earlier than they started there. For instance listed as mid September starts mid August here. Of course that is approxamatly, not exactly.

Kiss of Paradise is really nice, I relly like the look of it. Lovely pattern on Dragonfly Dawn, I have admired it, but after hearing how it does for you, guess I will pass it by. I do love the patterned ones right now. Like Kate said, foliage here is really tall, but so far I am not seeing a problem with short scapes. Except for Dumortieri that is in bloom now, and I don't know that I have ever seen that one have a problem with short scapes. Selma Rose is an early bloomer, and often has a problem with short scapes. Not this year, not really tall but out of the foliage, at least.

I am seeing a lot of scapes which seems to be early but I am not a good record keeper so who knows? Ornamental Focus, Little Pink Cloud, Red Eye Shocker, and My Pet all had FFO today. On a slightly different note, I received three single divisions of Tiffany Art Glass from Florida last Wednesday. One of the fans is putting up a scape. I will let one flower bloom then I will cut it off, to let the plant put its energy to grow. Ornamental Focus - a very consistent rebloomer. Little Pink Cloud - a very heavy bloomer.
