Does capacitor physical size matter? (Fan Motor slow or not running -

I need some help. My Trane central air AC condenser fan isn’t running at full speed and most times doesn’t even run and the system isn’t cooling. I took out the dual run capacitor and its testing OK with a multimeter. Since they are cheap, I’m thinking I will replace it anyway to see if it’s the cause of the problem. Do you agree? Or should I just try to replace the fan motor? Compressor seems to turn on ok.
I’m also having a hard time finding the exact same capacitor. It’s rated 35/4 uF 440 V 2.5″ diameter 3.25″ height. I can easily find 35/5 uF 440 v in 2″ diameter. Would it work for this replacement? Is it ok to go with a smaller diameter and a slightly higher microfarads of 5 instead of 4? Alternatively, I could find a 2.5″ diameter but with a 35/5 uF lower rating but not 35/4. What’s more important? I don’t want the capacitor to be stressed and cause an issue.
Thank you!
