Need help contacting Hancock & Moore

I have a leather couch and club chair set from H & M I bought in 1998. It's still in good shape but the seat cushions look like they need new stuffing (they look crushed in the front). The store I bought them from, Glabman's in Woodland Hills CA, has closed. The phone number for H & M (828-495-8235) has been disconnected. Does anyone know how to contact H & M and if they still honor their warranty? Thank you!

Although it is not stated in their written warranty I do think Hancock and Moore will replace cushion cores to the original owner so long as they own the furniture.

I'm in the Portland, Maine, area. 2 hours from Boston. Several years ago, my husband and I used to be mid-century-modern furniture dealers, and we often sold large pieces to people in other states. We used a company called Craters & Freighters (who carefully pack and insure and move furniture) and if I recall the prices weren't outrageous. Put them up for sale right here...at least people on this forum can appreciate the quality of H&M. You have to have photos, either use HTML code or a link to your ad. Pur in a price and location as well. If the cushions are 'sacked' out from use, get new ones at no charge from H&M before you photo them and run your ad. Duane Collie

Zach, I don't know what state you are in but for the best info on Hancock and Moore I would suggest contacting Duane Collie from the Keeping Room. We purchased a Hancock & Moore sofa, recliner, and fireside chair from him. Go to keepingroom.com and click on his forum tab or better yet call him. He is an amazing resource. Here is a pic of the sofa. I apologize for the darkness of the photo. The sofa is done in Pullman Brick. If you search his forum for the Teton sofa you can see our actual sofa. The recliner and fireside chair are on the opposite end of our room.

Furniture forum is a great site. We had a similar experience to yours. My wife fell in love with our son's power recliner, power sofa, power love seat, and wanted one. So I said okay. After many tryouts, we realized that they are only comfortable when you reclined. Not good for straight seating. We constantly get on and off to take our dog out, the fridge, etc. We wound up with a traditional sofa and ottoman, and chair from Stickley. If I knew about the City Sofa, I probably would have gone that way. I made a good choice, but the City is a winner. Duane Collie often recommends that sofa.

Not too long ago H&M was bought out by Century Furniture.

Hancock & Moore was purchased by Century Furniture however many of the key Hancock & Moore personnel have remained at the company & they will still operate out of the Hancock & Moore facility in much of the same manner has they have been operating. Freethinker99 as a former Hancock & Moore retailer have never known them to replace cushion cores to the original owner during the lifetime of their warranty. Cushion cores have a warranty period.
