Parthenocarpic cucumber not setting fruit

What could be a reason for gynoecious and parthenocarpic cucumber to flower, but not to set any fruit? Last year I planted parthenocarpic Little Leaf, that usually start to flower with male flowers and it takes about 2-3 weeks before first cucumbers after that. I also planted gynoecious and parthenocarpic European style cucumber hoping for an earlier crop, it started to flower about the same time as LL with female flowers, but didn't set any fruit for a month! All the little cucumbers just turned yellow and dried away like they are not pollinated. They started slowly to produce after that, so I am sure they ARE parthenocarpic, as I plant them in the net house. I want to avoid this issue this year if possible. Any suggestoins?
