It looks pretty there, nice and spacious. When our crepe myrtle trees lose their purple flowers, it looks like purple snow when there is a breeze.

Those bales of hay I see in the background and the fields they come from don't help anyone's allergies either, I'd bet

omg I sneezed! LOL We had those darn trees around our Dallas house and it was terrible, that stuff was all in the pool too. But even worse was when they harvested all the corn fields around there. The sky was cloudy with the mess it caused and we would find corn husks all in the pool and I was always sick. My doctor who lived right in my neighborhood would call me and ask if I was sick yet. HE knew when the harvest started he would be very busy.

Got one of those danged trees on the property behind me. My garden is white with 4 inch drifts of the stuff in some areas. Then there is the tracking into the house from either our shoes or the dog.

They are in our faces, in the mouth, eyes and nose plus you cannot open a window as they stick to to the screens. My neighbor is trying to get them out of his garage without any luck, they just fly around. To say I hate the tree is an understatement.

We had huge cottonwood trees in our yards in Colorado. I though it might be hail in your pics, because a few weeks ago we had hail that looked just like that, in So.Oh!

We have woods in front of us that sheds that stuff for days on end. I didn't know it was an allergy hazard though! I thought it was just the pollen making me miserable! ugh!

I love the cottonwoods! Ok, the fluff, I could do without, but it is only for a week or so. But the trees themselves are huge, provide great shade and grow like weeds. It amazes me how they hold their fluff until there is water. They don't shed until there is a good rain or ground flood. Around here, they grow in and around the irrigation ditches and along the river. When they shed, it looks like it's snowing, and is really quite pretty, IMHO. But then I can say that as I don't have hayfever. lol

I have one of those trees in my backyard and some of the neighbourhoods around here sometimes look like they have inches of snow on their lawns. The fluff makes my nose itch haha.
