Please name plant and advise on care, propagation
Comments (4)Kind of looks like a Philodendron vine or maybe a golden Pothos. Both are fairly common indoor plants. A healthy watering and a sunny window will probably have in back in shape shortly. Once the leaves start looking a little healthier you could try re-rooting them. Cut the vines a few inches below the leaves and stick the cut ends into a glass of water. In a week or so the vines will grow new roots that you can re-pot. This way you get a little less of the long bare vine look. When healthy, they act like most any vine would, they look for something to cling to and climb up. If there's a table leg next to them, they'll climb it. In some cases I've actually seen the vines cling to a bare wall with small roots they send out of the side. They don't grow terribly fast though, and you can train them to climb most anything just by placing a vine where you want it to go....See MoreSelf propelled mower advise needed.....
Comments (5)I bought a rear-wheel-drive Toro in 1986, and it lasted until 2002. I bought a new one to replace it. Both were / have been excellent mowers. My only gripe with the 20037 is the discharge chute design. Like the older one, the current one uses an extension to reroute the grass from the rear bag position to the side. Both the rear bag and the side discharge positions clog easily in tall grass. The cheaper 20017 has better a better discharge design, but has a steel deck instead of aluminum. Comments (12)Pharaoh x 3 for confused; please explain. I have a double bowl undermount stainless sink surrounded by a seamless single slab of silver sea granite. 11 years later it's still going strong. Not a crack or chip anywhere in the kitchen and I don't baby it. Hope I didn't jinx myself! Love the color and wish I could keep it for my remodel, but layout changes prohibit that. Dishdiva; how stressful! I'm glad they'll be replacing it. I'd insist on it. My sister experienced something similar. Big beautiful slab of granite for the island was installed with a crack. She saw it and made them replace it. Installed again and they used the same slab repaired with filling! Supposedly not noticed by the contractor when installed. Like sis wouldn't notice? Not a chance. She was livid, rightly so, and made them replace it with the new piece she picked out before the 2nd install. She has cream paint finish with a walnut island, Plain and Fancy I think and they were able to remove it twice without damaging the cabs and believe me if they did, she's have them replace those at their expense also. Hope that's reassuring. Love the color of your granite (green fan here) and what you've shown so far and I look forward to seing your finished kitchen. Please keep us posted. I've got my fingers crossed that 3 times the charm!...See MoreHelp: Young Nectarine Tree Dead on One Half, Please Advise?
Comments (11)I'll try and get a pic later on today. In the meantime, some additional info: the "dead" half is more on the side where the trunk is grafted onto the rootstock, the live half is more towards the rootstock and remaining living branch (you can see the rootstock in white paint bulging out underneith it in the top-down view above). I was kind of wondering if maybe it was some kind of failed graft issue. It was also supposed to be a nectarine/plum variety with red leaves, but they ended up being green, maybe that is related to the issue somehow? Hopefully this info helps, thanks for the response....See MoreAlisande
