I have a spring horse we bought for my son (he's now 44) and I have it cut in half lengthwise, with the intention of having the two halves face each other, mounted on my board fence. I intend to fill the cavity with spray foam insulation, so there's no place for hornets to nest. What kind of paint should I use? Is there a primer that I should use? This horse is hard plastic and has been through a raft of children and still looks pretty good, so I'd say it's sturdy. My house is federal blue with yellow trim, so I want to have one horse blue with yellow and the other yellow with blue. Does that sound dumb? So far, this is just in the planning stages, and I don't find anything else in the Garden Junk forum exactly like what I've got in mind. I'd love suggestions....

Shades of the Twilight Zone here. About every other time I try to post a message it will either disappear, be rejected and post anyway (which results in two answers being posted) or refuse to allow me back to make any corrections necessary. I've also had entire threads disappear after posting a message. They reappear a little while later after being lost in limbo. Yepper. Must be the Twilight Zone.

Glad you're ok! My DH was really indifferent toward most of the kitchen stuff, but I decided on a 640 CFM Kobe that's really quiet. The first night he used our cast iron grill pan to sear steaks he decided the hood was a good choice and couldn't shut up about it! We previously had smoke all through the first floor, but I could barely tell he was searing. We also use the hood more now, sinc it actually works. Definitely good advice! Get a decent hood!

Been chasing 3 kids in a split level house for 2 days. I'm getting LOTS of exercise. Carrying around a 24lb baby is my weight training. Muscles anyone. She will be 1 on the 15th and weighs almost as much as her 3 1/2 y/o brother. Takes after her Daddy's side of the family. Linda
