dimmed led lights cause tv interference

Hello,

We recently added a dimmer to our recessed led lights in our family room. This has caused some intermittent interefence on our cable tv. Interestingly it only happens on one channel (703) at different times (usually at night) so I'm assuming it's a particular frequency we have problems with. Since it only happens sometimes, I think the bitrate of the program on also matters.

When I first noticed the problem, it would go away if I turned the lights up full (no dimming) but now when the interference happens, changing the dimmer doesn't seem to matter.

The tv cable is a shielded coax and when I ran it, I did my best to cross the electrical lines at 90 degree angles. Also, I connected the cable to a splitter that I grounded to a junction box.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Would a better quality dimmer help? I just bought a random one a Lowe's. Is there anyway I can shield the cable even more?

Thanks for any help.
