I am still here. Between getting ready for the garage sale which is now only two weeks away and tossing things, so far have more than 15 a week. I am so glad you started this thread as I said before I am looking at things differently than I have in the past. It is getting easier to get rid of things as time goes on. It might be a little more challenging after the sale but I plan to be in for the long haul. I love seeing some empty spots in closets and drawers.

I am still with you. I took the items I purged last week to the thrift store this morning. I haven't finished the coat closet, but taking a break from it. I also emptied two book shelves of about 50 science fiction books that I'll take to the local library this week for their book sale later this month.

I think I'll work on my medicine cabinet and the drawers and cabinet of my side of the bathroom sink. So many lotions and potions in there that I no longer use! I usually take out what I want and ignore the rest. Time to kiss them good-bye!

I didn't officially sign up either and I haven't met the goal every week, but I am still at it.

I didn't sign up either but this article gave me a boost. Saturday I took about thirty things to a thrift store.

It is done. The garage is cleaned, well almost. We didn't get the rafers. They do need to be cleaned too but we worked all day on the garage and we are so tired. I have several boxes for Goodwill and the back of my husband's pickup is FULL of trash. He will sort it and reclyle what he can.

I just tossed out a half box of old aquarium decor, it really was junk and not worth donating. Last weekend I pitched a good sized stack of broken garden pots. I am still shaking my head about the thought process that went into storing them.

I took care of my medicine cabinet/sink drawers this afternoon. Threw away several old lipsticks and bottles of nail polish, assorted almost empty bottles and out-of-date cosmetics I no longer use. Filled a grocery bag and it went into the trash for pick up tomorrow.

This thread has been good for me, especially with summer here, and having a lot of free time.

I have not done my 15 items this week, but tomorrow will be my day to get it done.

Well, that box for Goodwill was overflowing when I finally dropped it off yesterday afternoon.

The bike carrier rack for the back of a car is unfortunately still here, cause an old bike buddy called and asked if I still had it. But, when he was in town we didn't connect.... and thus, it is waiting for his next drop in.

I have given all the work shirts and the hair nets I still have to Sylvia. She is the only one wearing a small top. Now the pants are another matter. I am not sure, those will fit anyone from my work crew, but will take them with me on Monday to the last meeting I have to attend. Then I will have two empty shelves, till Allison gets here and we put her stuff there. ;)

This is the first time I have seen this post but since my DH retired in January we have been cleaning out every storage space in the house. All the closets, garage cabinets, bureau drawers, kitchen pantry, the attic, the garden shed, - even the crawl space. I am worn out!
