Update on Hummel's Sunset Propagation

Not Good News- Most of the leaves have dried up from both Crassula Ovata regular and hummel's sunset, the ones that I cut off and the ones I tugged off too. There are just a few left that I decided to stick in soil. I hope some growth happens. Sorry guys.

I'm sorry to hear that! Well, I suppose that makes the experiment a little bit of a bust. My leaf cuttings tend to dry up too. I had only one do really well because I accidentally left it in my closet (to keep from fussing with it) and completely forgot about it until it sprouted baby leaves. I wonder if leaf cuttings just don't have good propagating rates? Anyway, I wish you luck with the rest of the cuttings!

Golly, that's too bad. At least you tried and I bet even learned a little bit from your efforts. Maybe you will have success with the others you managed to salvage.......Maryl

Now that I've refreshed the page, I am also able to confirm your 'Gollum'! Technically, your plant has leaves with both 'Gollum' and 'Skinny Finger' characteristics. Most of my plants have mixed leaf-types, as well, but I simply call them by the predominant leaf-shape. So 'Gollum' it is (or near enough!) Again, great find! Josh

LauraRobichaud, I have noticed that the stronger colors show when it is cooler outside. IÃ¢ÂÂm not sure if this is different depending on where you live and what your climate is like. Greenman28, Nice pot of HummelÃ¢ÂÂs and Crosby CompactÃ¢ÂÂs. My Crosby Compacts are very colorful outside as well right now with a lot of reds.

WOWOWOW. I knew I there was a reason that the hummel Jade is my favorite next to mine of course... I love it!!! Beautiful and BIG!
