Would You Give this Doctor a second chance?

New dermatologist. Arrived at appointment on time. Waited 2 hours to see her. She spent about 5 minutes with me and I didn't even have a chance to ask any of my questions. Wanted a follow up in 3 weeks.

I scheduled the follow up, arrived on time. Again, waited 2+ hours to see her. I got about 3 minutes this time. And when she walked in. I said "Would you wait to see you for 2 hours?" She said "No," and again she was out the door almost before I could blink. She froze a couple pre-cancer things on my face. Done.

Two nights ago, she called me at home and apologized. She explained that she had no control over appointments and that the company for whom she works makes high demands on her time. Something about insurance costs... didn't quite get it. She begged me for one more chance, but meanwhile I learned of another doctor in this town from other patients in her office that were also waiting. They all raved about him, but he no longer takes HMO's so they had to switch to her. My insurance is PPO which he takes, so I have an appointment with him in July. I told her about that and she begged me to please give her another chance and she would see me on her own time. I would be taken right in. No waiting. She even gave me her personal cell phone.

Just now her office called and booked me for a follow up with her. I'm still wanting to start fresh with the male dermatologist that was recommended. I fear once I give her one more chance, I'll be back in the waiting pool.

Would you give her another chance?
