It was a good episode. Spoiler ALERT!- Hey, maybe you all didn't know this, but it was actually Rodney's birthday that day! I know, he was so low-key about it....

WHAT a cry baby, I have never seen anyone pitch such a fit, he signed up to be on Survivor, get over the hardship already, we know you want real food. (Not that anyone seems to be losing too much weight anymore.) He's the most immature 30 year old I've seen in a while.

I'm sorry Mike had to use his HII, but maybe Carolyn and Sierra will vote with him and they can get rid of the worthless Will or Dan or the annoying Rodney. If those 3 guys I just mentioned end up at the final council, how can the jury possibly decide on one, they are all just so unlikable.

I'm still rooting for Mike. Then Carolyn, even though I don't care much for her. When Tyler was hinting about the HII, I said to DH, that's why you never tell anyone about it, they think that you should give it to them even though YOU found it. Right, like lottery winnings! LOL

I hated to see Mama C flip on Tyler. They were together in an alliance from day one. Too bad. But Tyler would have won hands down if he went to the finals. I don't know why I just don't like Mike that much anymore. I can't put my finger on it. Really running out of people to root for. I guess Mama C. She's hanging tough for an "older" woman, good for her. Doing us "older" women proud!

If Dan, Sierra and Will go to the final, I would have to give it to Dan. He's a jerk and a loud mouth, but he wheeled and dealed and schemed. Sierra is a hanger-on. Will is worthless. Those two definitely don't deserve to win.

I think Rodney is losing it coz he's the only one that hasn't had a break from the island or any type of reward. Wonder if he is working it extra hard so people keep him around counting on no one voting for him?

This is really one of those seasons I don't want anyone to win. I guess I'll go with Mike, at least he is really playing the game. Carolyn is second choice, because she is also playing. The rest are a bunch of useless, dumb lunks. Dan is a condescending jerk, Rodney is such a crybaby, Sierra is a wet rag, and Will is the worse player to have ever made it this far. So for sure Will will be in the finals, because he has no chance in heck of winning. And, yeah, I don't see too much slimming down. Dan's man boobs are bigger than mine. And all Rodneys whining about food--doesn't look like he is losing any of steroid muscles.

He took "it's my party and I'll cry if I want to" to another level! I lost count on how many times he whined it was his birthday.

I recently started rooting for Mike. I have been rooting for Carolyn from the getgo and yes, I agree she is doing us "older" women proud. Glad Tyler left.

Sierra's eyebrows bug me. Sometimes they are blonde and other times really dark, almost scary. I remember way back when Survivor first started, the contestants could bring one luxury item. Maybe hers is an eyebrow pencil, or maybe it's just dirt and mud on those brows lol

Other than the recent players, I don't remember them! I would vote for Jeremy and Joe in the men's group. Kelly has already had a couple times to play, but I honestly don't remember most of the women.

I looked at the photos and (barely) remember a few of them. And none jump out as interesting enough to bother to vote.

More about the Second--chance nominees. Surely you remember Spencer? And Kass?

They should have shown them as they looked when they were dirty and bedraggled, not the shots they pictured, I barely remember any of them. That one woman, though, ugh- Abi-whatever, she was flat CRAZY. I bet she'll get a lot of votes, people like crazy chicks. I hope Mike gets back on, assuming he doesn't win this season. You know who I'd like, Yow-man, or however he spelled it. He was good, smart, tough. Not whiny, but not offered up.

Well, after looking through the pics, and some I don't even remember, I wouldn't vote for any of the girls that were Boston Rob's minions, gag! Abi Maria was a snotty vicous b----- wouldn't vote for her. Isn't Tasha the one that lost every challenge and dumped the rice before leaving? No vote for her. Ciera Easton, NO. Brad Culpepper, NO NO. Also no to Mikayla and Peih-Gee.

My definite yeses would be Vytas Baskaukas, Keite Nate, Jeremy Collins, Kass, Spencer Woo, Kimmi Kappenburg to name a few.

I truly wish they would have ALL new people every season. There are sooooo many people who want to do this. One and done I say! Oh, and no Famous people, please!!!!

Re Rodney, I don't care for him, but you have to remember that every single birthday grumble was squeezed into a few minutes, which makes it seem that much more whiny. And I do think there's some culpability from the other players. They led him on when they said they'd give him the reward. When he was pushing it, they should have said, "Dude! Happy birthday and I'll sing you a song on the day, but this is Survivor. I have to do what the best strategy is at the time." Instead, they got him all excited that he'd be taken on the reward, win or lose, because he hadn't had any and it was his birthday. No wonder he felt gut punched when it didn't pan out. Is it better strategy to hold in the disappointment and work the angles? Sure. But they're all emotionally exhausted, and he isn't a self aware, introspective person to begin with.

Thanks for the Tyler interview. It was very interesting. I'd vote for Tyler to get the second chance. :) Is he on the ballot?

Re the returnees: I think they realized that this year's cast/edit is a real turn off. I generally work while the TV is playing, but Survivor is visual, and I usually watch it more. This year, I work and just let it run and only half pay attention because I dislike all the people except Tyler. Maybe I could like Carolyn, but they haven't shown enough of her to know. I'm sure they cooked up this vote for people to return thing to get fans of past years to tune in again!!

Re Dan, I don't care about his appearance, and I frankly like it better when they cast "real" looking people rather than unemployed actors and models. I also found his clueless unpleasantness fascinating and entertaining. I couldn't figure out if he was trying to be a Johnny Fairplay style jerk without the charisma to carry it off, or what. It did seem, though, that when he went to talk to Shirin after Will savaged her that he was being sincere, and that's about the nicest thing anyone has done this entire season.

Survivor is my guilty pleasure. My friends think it's horrible! I try to explain that it's like watching a kind of Zimbardo prison style experiment where the people actually want to be there, but they don't get it. :)
