Next week is the finale, with the (finally!) live reunion show. They'll go back to ready the votes on the island next season, since it costs a lot to stage the live show. Anyway, back to tonight. Will they vote out one or two people?

I cannot find it now, but I saw a Facebook post from Russell Hantz, who is my least favorite player but a star villain, ranking all the remaining players and he really nailed it. Great analysis. I can't recall if this is accurate, but it's logical:

If you are playing, you get rid of the favorites like Devens and Cirie, both of whom can win. Get rid of Jonathan so he doesn't win more challenges. Tiffany, Aubrey, Rizo, and bring Joe along for the ride, because the 'honor and integrity' bit isn't a winning strategy.

Why did they not listen to Tiff and get rid of Rizo? They wohld have called his bluff and Id have loved it.

So sorry to see Cirie go and I loved her goodbye speech.

I was laughing that they did not know how to spell inconceivable. I after e except after c! Which actually isnt true, but might have helped in this case.

Will hate to see it end next week.

Wow, that guy can ramble. I think hes right about Cirie. Shes just too good at playing the long game. I would love to see her win.

I cant believe how much i enjoy this silly show.

i have not commented b/c i just caught up last night! WOW! this has been a great season!! Love the fire token aspect!! just another twist which is awesome! the only thing that 'bothers' me is i think there are too many people on Extinction... so tough to get back in and they are only letting one player return. TOUGH!! tony's move to get out sophie was great! absolutely fine with nick getting the boot. who do i want to win?? well if picking a returning player - Natalie, Rob, Ethan or Yul. but should a returning player win? after all they did get voted out. whose left to win? tony, sarah or michelle. not feeling ben or denise.

I was very happy with Tony winning. I would've liked it if Natalie had won as well. I was SO happy Sarah didn't make it to the final 3 so we didn't have to listen to her drone on and on. I liked her in the season she won but not so much this time around. I actually felt sorry for Michelle not getting a vote. She was the easy choice to take to final 3. Michelle seemed like she was making fire easily. I think the only thing Nat could've done differently was to pick Sarah and then make Michelle & Tony battle out the fire challenge. Boston Rob is crazy for saying Nat should've taken her chance beating Tony in a fire challenge - no way should anyone give up their guaranteed final 3 spot ever. There's no way he would have done that so I was disappointed he'd say it. Natalie did have a huge part in the game. When she re-capped all the advantages she sent back into the game, I was impressed. But I think Tony did play the better game and he's certainly entertaining to watch! The time he thought he had an advantage that turned into a disadvantage, his reaction as he was reading it was my favorite part of the entire season!

If Lindsay was in the final three, I think she would've--and should've--won. I think there was something about Jonathan that the others didn't like. Maybe his brand of Christianity is one where the man is the head of the household and that came off in his interactions with the women. I haven't done any outside reading so I don't know if he's evangelical or Southern Baptist or something else. I remember in the first or second episode when Omar was setting up his prayer rug and he offered to answer any questions they may have about Islam and Jonathan immediately chimed in with "And I'll answer your questions about Christianity." I thought that was dismissive of Omar and a bit arrogant. Omar only offered because his religion isn't as well known as Christianity. He wasn't trying to convert anyone.

I thought Sue was going for sure. All the whispering at tribal council was dramatic. I like Teeny. Seems like some of the players who were more in the background so far are flexing their muscle. Sierra is still sulking over being voted out last week.

No kidding! I am happy that we have a small group here that enjoy it, and our ramblings. The others just scroll on by.

I was happy about one, not "happy" but it had to be done, about the other. Still UNhappy that Rizzo and Aubry have come this far.

It would serve them all right if Rizo wins, for thinking he's a good one to take along to the final three. I've been rooting for Tiff for the last few weeks and was so relieved when she won immunity. Btw, Cirie, you had the wrong block in your hand so it didn't matter that your blocks dropped.

Wasn't it so funny to see the two big beefy guys unable to spell a word? And dumb Aubrey helping Joe when she could've solved it herself.

I'm so mad they didn't vote Rizo out. He said he was going to play it, but I knew he wasn't; Aubrey is annoying, and so is he. I liked Cirie. Joe has always been my favorite back when he was on 48, but if he had learned to spell, he would have won again.

Why didn't they listen to Tiff? Because the two big beefy guys don't listen to women. Why are they letting those two run the show? I don't remember Jonathan being so unlikable in his first season.

Cirie always gets voted out because she never has an idol to save herself when they start removing the threats they don't want to sit next to at the end.
