Do be careful Bob, "picking up" mushrooms from non-supermarket sources can be dangerous, I'm sure you know that. A quick Google search disclosed that there are a number of poisonous varieties called "false morels". I know nothing more than that. There used to be a middle aged couple in our neighborhood who were very keen mushroom gatherers. It was a hobby that they each had many decades of experience doing. They were active in several local and regional mushroom clubs. You know the end of this anecdote, they no longer live in my neighborhood. Nor in any other neighborhood.

I love my peonies. Most of them are old ones and it seems that every time they bloom it rains and the heavy flowers flop to the ground. Of course, it's raining today and they just started opening. This is baptisia. Another pretty blue-ish flower.

LOL, Nicole, when I went to open this thread, your comment was what I saw and I was sure I would see a picture of your latest rental house project!! LOL It's nice to see you taking a break from all that. It's a cool picture! I love the others too. I love seeing scenery from different places. Mine is my first spiderwort flower of this spring. One of my favorite plants.
