Rainy day hostas
Comments (10)Thank you! They are all coming in big and stunning this year! I am so proud! Lots of complements from neighbors and friends! I have the most stunning hostas they've ever seen. Most have never seen any of them except maybe an albomarginata!...See MoreMy garden thus far
Comments (3)What a nice little garden, I am sure you got more veggies than you thought possible with such a small space. I see you have a water system or at least I saw some black tubing. That is my real problem. "watering" My grandkids drag the hose up to the house for their pool and everytime I want to water I have to drag 200 feet of hose back out to the garden. Needless to say, it does not get as much water as it should. It also looks like the fence behind your garden would work well to attach plastic to for a cover. You could easily make a mini greenhouse to start your garden early or extend it past the first frost. Good Thinkin!...See MoreRain drenched
Comments (2)Konrad: Is it the cold weather where you live? If so I have found a type of Clematis that is extremely cold hardy. The name of it is Avante-Garde. Bluestone Perennials in Madison,Ohio-USA sells them. Their e-mail address is www.bluestoneperennials.com by the way mine is a Jackmanni. Have had it for about 15 years....See Moresalt generator start-up questions
Comments (4)2 things to know (from what I've read) 1. the ppm reading on swcg is not neccesarily accurate. pentair even publishes a way to calibrate that reading (on their unit) after it's installed. and if it's close to right, does it really matter... if it's producing correctly. 2. i would definately turn it down. mine is oversized, and I'm running mine at 10%. remember... this is not a power rating, or output rating... it's just a "timer"... if you put it on 50%, it is going to be on 50% of the time that your pump (and swcg) is on. the time needed is going to vary from pool to pool, and will also vary with your chlorine needs throughout the year.... lots more in the summer, and lots less in the winter. rain will be diluting your chlorine also. turn it down. try 50... or 40... or less... higher is more time (less cell life) hope this helps....See Moredon_in_colorado
